Elisha Defeats an Army

6:8 Now the king of Syria was at war with Israel. He consulted his advisers, who said, “Invade¹ at such and such² a place.”

9:32 He looked up at the window and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three³ eunuchs looked down at him.

15:5 The Lord afflicted the king with an illness; he suffered from a skin disease⁴ until the day he died. He lived in separate quarters,⁵ while his son Jotham was in charge of the palace and ruled over the people of the land.
